February marked the start of the 2020 Learner Advancement Programme at the Kliptown Youth Program Centre, Phakamani Young Minds Academy, and Elton John Masibambisane OVC. There is an increased sense of excitement and accountability with parents fully involved in this year’s activities, and our sponsors’ expectations to deliver quality service to this year’s beneficiaries.
We thank heartily, the following donors for enabling the LAG vision.
Sessions with parents of the 2020 programme participants started on 15 February 2020.
Our strategy is to encourage parents and guardians to participate in the programme activities. We understand and appreciate the pivotal role that they play in the lives of their children, and therefore, the support and partnership with parents remains key to the success of the programme. On the first interaction, we presented the objectives of the programme, we managed to obtain immediate buy-in, commitment, and general excitement.
The Learner Advancement Programme started across the three centres and partner organisations, on 29 February 2020.
